A very successful event was held in Trinidad, attended by an mixed group of academics, the media, friends and colleagues.

While in Trinidad, I was also interviewed on television to provide a wider audience with information about my book.

I attended the annual conference of the SCS, which brings together scholars from all over the world to present the latest research on the Caribbean and its diasporas. I gave a short presentation on my book, which was enthusiastically received, and it sold well.
